Hello and happy March! It's not such a happy month for Julius Caesar, but we are hoping it is a good one for all backers. We are delighted to say that the end of February and so far March have been quiet at Footsore HQ regarding any GoR2 pledge issues. As March is coming to a close and we enter a new month, we think it is safe to think all pledges have landed. With this in mind, our current plan is to close out the pledge manager from the beginning of April 2024. This action will complete the project.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR FOOTSORE MINIATURES?
We are currently running a Kickstarter for probably the best Vikings ever made! We believe this is another excellent collaboration between Footsore Miniatures and Matthew Bickley. As you would expect from Matt, every figure is a gem, bringing a comprehensive Viking range to the tabletop. It is a big project, and we hope we have done these warriors justice with the breadth of our range and the quality of the miniatures. Pledge at any level to choose the bundle deal that speaks to your inner berserker.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR GANGS OF ROME?
We are launching version 2 of Gangs of Rome in April at Salute 2024. Everything from Kickstarter, except Priscus, will become part of the new product range via the Footsore Miniatures website and will be made available to trade stores.

All GoR2 Completed Pledges Have Left the Building

We are delighted to say all packages were collected by a courier or Royal Mail, last week. Which means all completed backer pledges have been dispatched. It is reassuring to see lots and lots of "it's arrived!" posts in the Gangs of Rome Facebook Group.
If you have not yet received your pledge, please be patient, as all packages are now in the mailing system.
EU PLEDGES
If you backed Gangs of Rome 2 and currently waiting for your pledge to be delivered to the EU, please let us assure you that every attempt has been made to send it via IOSS, which means VAT has been paid. If you encounter an issue, don't hesitate to get in touch with us via [email protected]. Please include your order number (it will be FSKSXXXX), or your Kickstarter email address, and we will do our best to help sort things out.

Pledge Fulfilment Update for GoR2

Hello! It's already the last day of January 2024, and we have a positive update regarding pledge fulfilment. As of today, all pledges have been picked, packed, and waiting for despatch, with the rest of the world and most North America pledges already leaving Footsore Miniatures & Games HQ.
Pledges waiting very patiently to be shipped out.
For the remainder of this week, we will continue to book out pledges for despatch, which means all pledges have been picked and are ready to go by the end of this month; currently, we have a bottleneck with shipping them out of the door. We are pressing through these as fast as we can!
As your pledge is dispatched, you will receive an email notification. If your notification indicates the rulebook is missing, never fear! On some of the initial orders, we missed them (for some reason) when we exploded the starter bundle into individual items; however, we did add them back in before shipping. You should receive a second notification showing the rulebooks included in the next few days. Sorry for any confusion caused; it was an initial computer error on our part.
If you receive your pledge and there is an issue, don't hesitate to contact Footsore's customer support using our email: [email protected]. We will help you out as quickly as we can. Be aware some pledges are so big they have been sent in multiple packages. If you believe you are missing a chunk of your pledge, check your box to see if it says 1/2 or 2/2 (one of two or two of two), etc., as you may still be waiting for another box to arrive.

Hello, everyone, and Happy New Year. It is time for another project update to let you know what has been happening behind the scenes during December and a little bit of January.
Printed Full-Colour Rulebook Arrives!
The new full-colour Gangs of Rome version 2, hardback A4 rulebook, has arrived at Footsore HQ. As a major part of this project, it is amazing to finally have it in our hands.
We think that it is a thing of beauty and easy to navigate. With the core rules at the front, consisting of less than 40 pages, followed by the separate Advanced and Campaign sections, you can find what you need when you need it.
Don't just take our word for it; we are distributing the PDF version to all eligible backers today. These backers will receive an email notifying them of the available download when it is ready. We will also be making the Gangs of Rome cobbled bases STL files available for you to download and 3D print. We have tested and printed all these bases successfully.
Citizens of Rome, Plastic Box Set
This month, we have had plastic Citizens of Rome everywhere. To be honest, it is the biggest mob we’ve ever seen!
If you have backed for a box and plan to use them for the game, you will have enough for three mob bases and fifteen gang fighters, which is plenty to get you started as a beginner. If you are a Veteran, you have soooo many options, and we are looking forward to seeing what you create.
Pick, Pack and Despatch
With the arrival of both the new rulebook and the plastic box set, we have been able to start work on preparing your pledges for despatch. This is now taking place and will continue throughout January 2004. We are still on target to have all pledges out of the door by the end of the month. As a gentle reminder, all pledges being processed are now locked.
Our next update is planned for the end of January 2024. We will use it to update everyone about pledge fulfilment. In the meantime, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Hello everyone. It is time for another project update to inform you what has been happening behind the scenes during November.
The New Rulebook is with the Printer
The work on the rulebook was finished this month and is currently being printed and packed.
We have received a printed proof, which Andy Hobday is in the process of checking to ensure it contains the correct number of pages and they are all the right way up.
If everything is OK, we expect a big shipment of books to arrive at Footsore HQ week commencing the 18th of December, just in time for the Christmas break.
Test Shots of New Plastic Frames received
Much to Darren Evan's excitement, November proved to be a key month as plastic test prints arrived at Footsore HQ. With the option to make six figures from each frame and five frames to a box, there is so much choice for both Gang Fighters and Rome's mob.

The initial shipment of finished frames is currently on its way to us from Wargames Atlantic via airfreight, which should be received during the first half of December. There will be more than enough to fulfil the box sets included in your pledges, with a few extra to spare.
The box design has been completed and approved. It is off to the box printer in early December, with the aim being for us to have packed 500 boxes of plastics by early January 2024 so we can commence fulfilment.
We Took GoR v2 to Firestorm in Cardiff
We took a trip to Firestorm Games in Cardiff for The Barons' War Grand Melee this month. We made a weekend of it, so we set up Gangs of Rome for people to try on Saturday. It is safe to say that everyone who tried a game really enjoyed themselves. The main feedback we received was that it is easy to pick up and lots of fun to play!
Pledge Fulfilment
At Footsore HQ, we have continued working on manufacturing stock, so we have everything on hand and ready to go. However, if you or your friends have only just realised how cool version 2 of Gangs of Rome is going to be, December 2023 is the last month for a VERY late pledge!
Once the rulebook and plastic box set arrive at Footsore HQ, we will be ready to start fulfilling pledges. We are still on track to pick and pack throughout January 2024 to have everything dispatched by the end of that month. Not long to go now.
Our next update is planned for early January 2024. With that in mind, we wanted to finish by wishing you and your families a fantastic Christmas and New Year, with all our best for 2024.
